Discipleship for Your Whole Group. One Simple Process.

A co-ed discipleship process for couples, small groups, and communities ready to make disciples together.

Lead A Group

Not sure if Co-Ed is right for you? See how our tracks compare → Ordinary Men & Ordinary Women
Same proven process. For groups that want to grow together.

Our Co-Ed track uses the same proven discipleship process as Ordinary Men and Ordinary Women — but designed for mixed groups.

Co-Ed is ideal for:

  • Couples — You want to grow in your faith together, not separately. Walk through the same discipleship journey side by side.

  • Church Small Groups — Your existing group wants more than another Bible study. You want a clear path to becoming disciples who make disciples.

  • Community Groups — Friends, neighbors, coworkers — you do life together and you want to grow together. Same process. Mixed group.

  • Churches — You need ONE discipleship process your whole congregation can use. Men, women, couples, and community groups — all on the same page.

Prefer gender-specific groups? Our Men's and Women's tracks offer the same process with space for same-gender vulnerability and accountability.

Want to grow together? Co-Ed is for you

Tired of Small Groups That Don't Go Anywhere?

You've been in small groups before. Maybe you're leading one now.

You meet. You talk. You study. But something's missing.

There's community — but it doesn't go deep. There's content — but it doesn't multiply. Year after year, it's the same cycle: start a study, finish a study, start another one.

Sound familiar?

Most small groups never become disciple-making groups. They consume content but don't produce disciple-makers. And the people in them stay stuck — knowing they're supposed to do more, but without a clear path forward.

It doesn't have to be that way.

What if your group had a simple process — not just for studying the Bible, but for becoming disciples who make disciples? What if the people in your group became leaders who start their own groups?

That's what Ordinary Movement's Co-Ed track is designed to do.

Lead A Group
Co-ed discipleship small group meeting together

We've been in those small groups too. The ones where you finish a study and wonder, "Now what?"

We've seen groups that had great community but never moved anyone toward multiplication. We've felt the frustration of wanting more — but not knowing what "more" looked like.

That's exactly why we built this.

We Built the Process We Wish We'd Had

Ordinary Movement started with groups of men and women who wanted to be challenged in their faith — not just informed. Over years of refinement, we developed a reproducible discipleship process that works.

What makes it work:

  • A proven 27-session workbook designed for high-grace, high-challenge growth

  • The same process used by men's and women's groups nationwide

  • Coaching, training, and a platform that supports leaders every step

  • A clear path from participant → leader → multiplier

  • Real multiplication: groups producing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation disciple-makers

“This study was helpful in understanding God's word and to be in it daily. In order to disciple other people I needed to be fulfilled myself. When that happened, an outward appearance had changed in me. People started noticing something different in me. I give all that to the glory of God. He is working in and through me, I just needed to be present and listen to him. How did/do I do that? Through reading my Bible.” -OW Participant

You don't need to have it all figured out.
You just need to be willing to step up.

What Drives the Process

Every Ordinary Movement group — men's, women's, or co-ed — is built on three pillars:

CORE

        Values

  • We prioritize our relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, knowing that our identity can only be found through intimacy with Him. Everything in our Christian walk flows from our time spent with the Lord. We long to grow in intimacy with Jesus, making our faith personal. Intimacy with Jesus births passion that fuels our faith.

  • Instead of individualism and isolation, we commit to sacrificing our time and schedules to invest in others, building intentional relationships anchored in the Lord. We do what we say, we make time for others, and we maintain teachable hearts. We understand that our lives matter because other’s lives depend on us.

  • We commit to being disciples who make disciples, focused on putting our faith into action. We act out of calling from a place of intimacy and passion produced in time spent with God. First we sit and listen, then we go and do. While Ordinary Movement groups are designed to strengthen and empower the believer, we do not exist to create a “holy huddle.” On the contrary, Ordinary Movement believes that as each participant becomes fully alive in his individual walk with Christ, from this place of intimacy they will be empowered to reach others around them who are lost. So while multiplication within Ordinary Movement groups will be specific to believers participating in intentional discipleship, the result will, and must be, a spreading of the Gospel among the communities in which we live and the people with whom we interact daily. The ultimate goal is that each person will bring new believers into the Ordinary Movement process and teach them to be disciples who make disciples.

Go from "we're just a small group" to leading a community of disciples who make disciples — and multiply.

More Than a Study
A Movement

Ordinary Movement isn't just a curriculum you download and run alone.

It's a grassroots movement of believers across the nation who are done with consumer Christianity — and are stepping into ownership of the Great Commission.

Couples growing together. Church small groups becoming disciple-making engines. Community groups turning into multiplication hubs.

When you start a group, you're not doing this alone.

You're joining a national community of disciple-makers who carry the same high-grace, high-challenge culture. You're connected to leaders who've been where you are. And you're part of a movement that's producing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation groups.

This is what it looks like when ordinary believers take the Great Commission seriously.

What Groups Are Saying

  • “Growing up in the Christian faith, I always felt like I was missing some important truth about my faith. It seemed as if getting saved and being good were the objectives to strive for, but that never rang true. It wasn’t until I was able to embrace the vulnerability of being an ordinary man, unable to meet my own expectations, let alone God’s, that I found that I could start to experience God’s grace and grow in true intimacy with Jesus. God chose the ordinary men of this world so that He would be glorified. In the daily discipline of being His disciple, expressed through a spirit of hospitality, I am now able to say, "I am willing Lord, send me."

  • “I feel like it opened the doors to being with other Christian men. It allows the freedom to speak your faith and engage in Christian conversations. Everyone I've met seems to be relaxed and willing to listen/talk about things most men are not willing to talk about.”

  • “This last year probably saved my "life". I say that as a guy who has struggled with depression, and leading up the start of OM, I was near my lowest point. The prayer and connection with the fellas in OM, coupled with the power of the Spirit, turned my outlook around, gave me friends to rely on, and support to take on each day and succeed. I love it.

In addition, I connected with a couple guys, I'd call deep friends, at this point. Men who I didn't know before, who have joined with me, and I with them, to grow closer to Christ and each other.”

  • “Ordinary Women encouraged me to take action in my spiritual life. After taking the initial step of spending more time with the Lord, I began to notice how He was working in and through me to reach the people closest to me. On top of that, I made some incredible friendships that will last a lifetime.”

  • “This study is biblically based and supported by respected theologians. It was incredible to meet other women who are godly and be supported by them throughout the year. I feel like our prayer was powerful and answered. I loved being up early in the morning to sit in my secret place and know that so many others were doing the same thing.”

  • “OW has pushed me to make space in my life for intentional relationships with people and ultimately Jesus. I have felt so supported by each person in my group throughout the last year and hope to show others how important it is in our faith to have a community like this. One to laugh and cry with, encourage, speak grace in truth, and walk side by side in our faith together. Truly a life-changing experience!”

    More Details:

Groups are designed for a long duration/high commitment environment. This means that for the best outcomes, it is advisable for the group that starts together to remain together until the conclusion. Changes to this design weaken the development of the core values that these groups foster.

Need support? Our team has launched small groups all over the United States, and we have a deep knowledge of the most common small group systems for churches. We offer coaching throughout the entire launch process and assist in integrating OM/OW tracks into your small group ministry.

  • No. This was built for ordinary men and women. The workbook gives you a script for every session. You bring the willingness — we'll give you the tools.

  • Ordinary Movement is an interdenominational discipleship movement that supports existing churches with discipleship resources. We welcome and make room for people from all Christian denominations, provided they adhere to the core tenets of historical, biblical Christianity and exhibit the key characteristics of Jesus' followers—humility, curiosity, and a commitment to the truth—without which unity is nearly impossible.

To be very clear, we have worked with groups from the following types of churches: Southern Baptist, Calvary Chapel, Assemblies of God, Non-Denominational, House Church, Catholic, Presbyterian, and many more. We do not endorse any particular association but solely aim to guide our participants toward the core teachings of Jesus, which emphasize being a disciple and making disciples. We’re proud to have pastors from across all denominations recommending our platform, and we strive to major in the majors and minor in the minors.

  • Below is our statement of faith:

    • We believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Holy Spirit inspired the writers of the Old and New Testaments pointing to Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world.

    • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and co-eternal.

    • We believe that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to redeem all of mankind. Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life on this earth, performed many undeniable miracles, was crucified for our sins, buried and was raised from the dead for our justification. By the name of Jesus Christ, and His name only, can mankind be saved. Jesus Christ sits at the Right Hand of the Father and will return personally in power and glory to receive His Church unto Himself.

    • We believe that mankind is sinful by nature and will perish without the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as revealed in His Gospel. That God wishes that no one should perish, but that all would come to this saving knowledge through the preaching of the Gospel to a lost and hopeless world.

    • We believe that matrimony is a holy monogamous marriage between one man and one woman. This means that man and woman are two distinct genders willed by God their Creator in their respective beings, which reflect the image and nature of God.

    • We believe in the multi-faceted work of the Holy Spirit to bring conviction of sin, revelation of the truth of the Gospel of Christ, drawing of the sinner to God, adoption of mankind into the Body of Christ through regeneration, and the distribution and administration of the Gifts and Fruit of the Holy Spirit in the believer’s life. Jesus Christ is the “baptizer with the Holy Spirit” for the empowerment of the Church through the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.

    • We believe in the local church as a place where believers gather together for edification, teaching from the Word of God, and ministry to and through each other according to their spiritual gift. The local church provides identity to its members as well as encouragement, interdependence, fellowship, correction, and discipline.

We also uphold the Nicene Creed:

This creed dates back to the 4th century A.D. when Christians came together and composed this formative and definitive statement.

The Nicene Creed has stood the test of time as a standard of what Christians from every stream of the Body of Christ believe. It is more than an intellectual checklist of doctrine; it is a confession of worship that forms us as the people of God and draws us together into the life of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary, and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. Who has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy worldwide and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Ready to Lead a Discipleship Group?

You don't need a theology degree. You don't need to be a pastor. You don't need to have it all figured out.

You just need to be willing to step up.

The Great Commission wasn't given to professionals. It was given to ordinary men and women who had been with Jesus — and were willing to help others do the same.

Firefighters making disciples. Electricians making disciples. Business owners, mechanics, teachers, and retirees — all stepping into the calling Jesus gave to every man and woman.

Will you be one of them?
