What Leaders Are Saying | 2025
Why do you desire to use OM/OW as a discipleship tool? What drew you to us?
"The mission, vision and values are what drew me to this discipleship tool. My desire is to see people come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ. More laborers are needed, and if I continue to grow while doing my part as a disciple, and making other disciples, and so on then the movement continues to grow, and Christ's command to go out is manifesting in the world." -Cresheva
"God has placed discipling men at the core of my heart. As a Student Ministry Pastor I see the need for men, to be discipled, so that families can be restored, reoriented and made into disciple making hubs as well. I believe that it starts with men, being trained up to be disciple makers. I believe that God led me to find this ministry to be a tool to train men to be disciple makers and not consumers!" -Tim
"I work for Impact 360 Institute, and have a HIGH bar for discipleship and have been searching for a tool to use in a discipleship group within the church my wife adn i are members of. This tool seems to be biblically grounded and will both help participants grow in their understanding of who God is, but also to live a missionally active life, which were my 2 biggest priorities in looking for a piece of content to walk through." -Christian
"Know Jesus deeply and walk in His truth. Salvation is just the beginning and true transformation happens through discipleship, where believers are equipped, encouraged, and challenged to grow in their faith. I feel called to lead a small group because I want to create a space where people can be discipled, ask hard questions, build real relationships, and grow into strong, bold followers of Christ. Jesus invested in a few to reach many, and I want to follow that same model by pouring into others so they, in turn, can impact the world for His kingdom." -Rashad
"The core values drew me as it is how I currently walk out my faith. I've been prayerfully seeking a discipleship tool that will help transition disciples into intentional, bold, passionate disciplemakers. Much of my ministry has focused upon one on one interaction. Modeling, Practicing, Coaching & eventually celebrating provides hands-on, engaging, empowering process to set group members up for success in leadership as they multiply." -Kimberly

"I believe that the realms of discipleship, are like when we build a house, each trade MUST have the same QUALIFIED BLUEPRINT as to attain the envisioned product. The OM seems like a great unifying tool to make sure the tradesman can be affirmed in the ability to understand their role in the blueprint mission. "First, what drew me. I am developing a program to focus inside the congregation so that my church family does not have Christ say to them; “I never knew you”. I’m calling it InReach. Churched people today perform plenty of outreach, but not so much reaching them while in church. To that end I’m looking for programs that can be used to reach those already in the church. I’ve been searching the Internet and your program’s core beliefs to align with what I’m looking for." -Mike
"There is a deficit of discipleship in our church and the Lord has led me to lead men, regardless of my own insecurities. My conviction is to respond in obediance and find something that isn't dependant on one man but can be replicated, that the resource is completely reliant on God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit, that the resource boldly proclaims the entire Word of God without concern for the accolades of men." -Chad
"At 58 years old, and after 40 years as a Christian, and after having achieved all of the outward displays of success, and having been taken throught the fires of loss, from rags to riches three times - to contented... Ihave found the only stable, gracious, forgiving, merciful, place of purpose, belonging, meaning, healing and fulfillment to come from Jesus Christ and our Father in Heaven. He has saved me from self-destruction, healed my body, mind and soul from childhood through age 35 which were filled with heinous abuses, and has miraculously provided for every need, on time and more amazing ways than I alone could have ever devised. My hands have been used to heal, my mouth guided by the Word of Holy Spirit to bring salvation to others, and my one true joy is in preaching the good news to all others and sharing his marvelous works through testimony, teaching and mentoring. This seemed to find me, as I honestly do not know how i actually came to find out about you all. LOL. Just seems like God Himself guided me here to fulfill the desires in my heart that will glorify Him!" -Lisa
"I was drawn to Ordinary Women because it offers a simple yet powerful way to pursue genuine discipleship rooted in Scripture, prayer, and community. What stood out to me is the heart behind the movement, it’s not flashy or performance-based, but instead focused on helping women walk closely with Jesus in real, everyday life. I desire to use OM/OW as a tool because I’ve seen how many women, including myself, long for meaningful connection and spiritual depth, but often don’t know where to start. This study provides both the structure and the freedom to grow together, to be honest and accountable, and to follow Christ with intention." -Sommer
"I’ve always had a deep passion for leadership—it's something I’ve pursued intentionally for years. I attend the Global Leadership Summit annually, and Craig Groeschel’s words have stuck with me: “When the leader gets better, everyone gets better.” That mindset fuels how I lead, serve, and grow. I was introduced to OM/OW by a member of our church who saw the need to start discipling more intentionally, and the heart behind this movement immediately resonated with me. It’s practical, relational, and focused on multiplication—not just information. That’s the kind of tool I want to use to make a lasting impact." -Matt
