You’ve Been Invited to Mentor!

Our hope is that everyone gets the chance to step into mentorship. And the good news? It’s simpler than you might think.

Just keep investing in the person who’s now stepping out to lead. That’s it.

Here are a few ways to show up well:

  • Check in.

  • Pray for them.

  • Encourage them.

  • Remind them they’re not alone when leading gets tough.

  • Sit in on a session or two. Get to know the people they’re discipling.

  • Be the wind in their sails as they help launch the next generation of groups.

You don’t need a seminary degree or sage-level wisdom. You just need to stay present until they find traction—and then help them do the same for others.

In short? Be available. Be a friend.

Below is a podcast we recorded on mentorship in Ordinary Movement. Give it a listen, and reach out if you’ve got questions—we’re in this with you.
